Version 8 Update 25 is not the most recent version. Minecraft seems to run an old version of Java 8 by default. You may need to replace the version, jre1.8.0_40, with a different one though. The path itself is then C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin\javaw.exe or C:\Program Files \Java\jre1.8.0_31\bin\javaw.exe depending on that. On Windows, Java is usually installed in C:\Program Files\Java or C:\Program Files (x86)\Java depending on whether you have installed 64-bit or 32-bit Java. This is simple as well provided that you know where Java is installed on your system. What if you want to use a different Java version? This introduced a large new segment of the Fallout community to modding, which can be pretty overwhelming. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is limited in what mods players have access to, but Xbox One players have access to a much larger selection. Thankfully, Fallout 4 also introduced modding to the console editions for the first time in the series. Bethesda games often boast a wide range of mods, from small visual items to completely fanmade expansions that can add hours of new content. Luckily, games from developer Bethesda are notorious for how moddable they are, with games like Skyrim and Fallout 3 still sustaining massive modding communities years after their respective releases. However, there were some aspects of Fallout 4 that fans of the series found lacking. The game brought numerous changes to the series, including a new story, new factions, and base-building mechanics. Fallout 4 drops players into an irradiated wasteland surrounding Boston.
